Idol Corp announced that Vtuber Yuko Yurei will graduate from the company. Her last broadcast will take place on May 31, 2024, which is at the end of a five-day marathon stream (ongoing as of the time of writing).
The statement acknowledged Yuko’s hard work in achieving all of her marathon goals and said some of them will come soon after she graduates. It went on to say that she was a beloved member of the company and the staff were sad to see her go. However, it wished her well and noted that she will “shine brightly wherever she goes.”
While Yuko retweeted the company’s statement, after which she didn’t share anything about herself other than promoting her marathon stream. The last tweet she put out before the announcement from Idol Corp was a tease of new content on her channel as well as more marathon goals.
Yuko Yurei is a British VTuber and idol, who debuted in November 2022 as a member of E-Sekai. Other talents from this generation include Fuyo Cloverfield and Rin Penrose. As of the time of writing, Yuko is finished 232k subscribers on her YouTube channel. Her content includes gaming streams, covers, and vlogging.
