Kia is boasting a long list of additional software features for the EV3, including a new AI assistant that can answer questions, help with navigation, and control basic cabin functions. This is the first Kia EV to feature the company’s new bespoke assistant — it previously appeared on the compact Kia K4 and will soon be available on other EV models — so while we haven’t tried it yet test this feature but of course we can’t wait to try it out. put it through the rigors of daily use. On-board driver assistance features include dynamic torque vectoring for smooth acceleration, lane assist, collision avoidance system, and highway self-driving mode. There’s also a remote parking assistant that can steer the SUV into a parking space while you stand on the curb and watch.

EV3 is emerging as one The electric vehicle market is booming. Although there’s been a lot of talk about flashy, performance-oriented electric cars like Tesla’s Electronic truck and Porsche Maycan, automakers like Kia, Hyundai and Ford have been regularly rolling out affordable electric vehicles that are driving a multibillion-dollar global market. The EV3 revelation also comes at a time when US officials are tightening the import of electric vehicles. America was recently established tariffs on Chinese electric vehicles to prevent them from flooding the market. But cars from Korean manufacturers such as Kia and Hyundai currently making one larger part import more into the US than vehicles from China, Japan or any other country outside the EU.
Kia’s EV3 has not yet arrived in the US. Kia said the car will be launched in South Korea in July, followed by a launch in the European Union in the second half of 2024. The company said it plans to consider expanding to other European regions and possibly in other places after that.
