KHK Racing’s 2 year old pony Sakheer (Ire) (Zoffany {Ire} –Shortmile Lady {Ire}, by Arcano {Ire}), its second promising debut at Windsor in August, achieved ‘TDN Rising Stardom’ with a broad beat at Haydock on the first of this month and repeat the dose with another incredible performance at G3 Dubai Duty Free Mill Reef S. in Newbury. The 4th-5th lover has been wary from stalls and finds a smooth rhythm in a handy third through the early segments of this black bow. Rushing forward to loom on the reins past the quarter-mile marker, he tackled the contest in an instant as he quickly took control shortly after and continued to be clearer under minimal coaxing at the following stage to easily pass Rousing Encore (Ire) (Exclamation mark {GB}) is 3 1/2 long. The winner’s stable friend Charyn (Ire) (Dark Angel {Ire}) took the best of the rest and finished 3/4 of the length in third place.
