Zach Wilson (and his mobility) should start the offense
Midfielder Zach Wilson’s return from a right knee injury brings an element to the Jets’ attack that has largely lacked over three games: mobility in midfield.
One of the reasons the Jets’ attack was so difficult (making only five touchdowns in three games) was because Joe Flacco moved as if he had the lead feet. This made it difficult for him to avoid haste, which resulted in him being fired frequently (nine times, seventh in the NFL).
Worse, unable to avoid the constant pressure of the offensive line due to injuries, Flacco often fumbled when he was hit. The 37-year-old has lost three times this season. For comparison, Wilson lost just one of all the previous seasons.
