Gilon, in a series of tweets, rebuked Lapid and emphasized how strong the friendship between the people and nations of India and Israel is and will last long after the damage caused by him.

On Monday, IFFI Chief Jury Nadav Lapid, at the closing ceremony of the film festival, called the film ‘Kashmir Records’ “propaganda, vulgarity”. His remarks then went viral, leading to widespread criticism.
