Shami and Siraj made significant seam movement to get past New Zealand’s top order as the hosts won by eight strokes in their second ODI to end a three-game series in Raipur on Saturday.
When Umran asked how he stays so calm and cheerful in every game, Shami said: “When you’re playing for your country, you shouldn’t put pressure on yourself. You should carry on. Believe in your skills You tend to lose your temper when under pressure.
“However, when you stay calm and continue to believe in your skills, you’ll have a better chance of executing your plan. When you’re doing well, the importance of staying focused goes on. more.
