Go Racing and Racing Together have launched the Yorkshire Racing Signaling Programme, a series of community-driven events to support local communities. The first event, held in Wetherby on March 31, revolved around WiSE, Wetherby in support of Seniors. The Yorkshire Community Signaling program will include a range of activities, including university visits and art projects, behind-the-scenes experiences and internships. Beacon will promote volunteering as part of Racing Together Community Day, working with community groups and in fundraising events, as well as participating in established and emerging community programs.

“Yorkshire Racing is a world-class racing region and has hosted some of the best charity races and community initiatives,” said Lucy Gurney, Community Engagement Manager for Racing Together. Our aim is to strengthen the connection between Yorkshire racing and its communities for long-term mutual benefit. This pilot program builds on similar activities taking place at Aintree, Newmarket and through the Scottish Grand Prix. ”
