YNW Melly Caught With Shanks & Pipe Bombs In Broward County Jail

However, another inmate in the dormitory was found in possession of shins, prescription drugs and other contraband.”

The rapper’s lawyers went on to say that he “does not (have) any relationship with this prisoner,” and that Melly’s visitation restrictions still apply, the newspaper reported.

“Although Mr Demons did not have any relationship with this prisoner, Mr Demons and his attorneys had customary restrictions on visits due to the discovery of contraband owned by a third party inmate. More than five (5) months have passed, which is more than enough time for Mr. Demons’ residence to make a decision on the allegations made in the complaint. “

This is hardly the first problem Melly has faced since being held at the Broward County Jail. He was denied release despite contracting COVID-19 in 2020 and 2021, and punished by prison staff for promoting the album “Just a Moment of Slime” with an Instagram video.

Officials confiscated his Gucci clothing as well as denied him access to the video for three months after that breach.

His phone privileges were similarly revoked earlier this year.

Melly also had a tooth abscess from diamond baking, but a judge ruled out an emergency release from prison to seek proper dental care.

The 23-year-old has faced life in prison because of the deaths of two friends – Anthony Williams (aka YNW Sakchaser) and Christopher Thomas Jr. (aka YNW Juvy) – in October 2018.
