Yellowjackets Season 2 Scheduled to premiere on March 24, 2023 on showtimes

Showtime has announced that the horror television series Yellowjackets will return for Season 2 on March 24, 2023. The network shared the news with a 15-second teaser video that you can watch below.
A synopsis of the series reads: “[Yellowjackets is about] A group of extremely talented high school girls soccer players survive a plane crash deep in the Ontario wilderness. The series chronicles their transition from a complicated but prosperous team to war-torn cannibal clans, while also following the lives they’ve managed to piece together. Showtime’s new trailer just hints at all the mysteries and revelations that are still to come.
Yellow Jacket premiered in November 2021 and quickly proved itself to be a winning weekly survival horror mystery. In a GameSpot post about the series shortly after its launch, Mason Downey called the show “brutal” and a rewarding “weekly mystery story”, perfect for Lost fans. Part 1 achieved a 100% score on Rotten Tomatoes and received seven Emmy Award nominations.
The show was created by Ashley Lyle and Bart Nickerson (Narcos), and its stars include Melanie Lynskey (Castle Rock), Juliette Lewis (Camping), Christina Ricci (Z: The Beginning of Everything), and Tawny Cypress (Z: The Beginning of Everything) Can not forget). Season 2 stars Sophie Nélisse (The Book Thief), Jasmin Savoy Brown (The Remainers), Sophie Thatcher (Prospect), Samantha Hanratty (NOT WEAR), Courtney Eaton (Mad Max: Fury Road), Liv Hewson (Santa Clarita Diet), Steven Krueger (The Originals), Warren Kole (Shades of Blue) and Kevin Alves.
