During early access, Factorio had a base price of $20, which increased to $30 in 2020 after version 1.0 was released. Since then, the PC version has remained at the stated price, except for the occasional sale. But as Wube Software announced today on Twitter, this is an “adjustment to account for the inflation of the Steam release in 2016”, referring to the early access start year.
