Xiaomi Civi 2 launch date officially confirmed: Here’s what to expect


Xiaomi has officially confirmed the release date of Civi 2 in China. The woman-centric smartphone will succeed the Civi and Civi 1S smartphones launched last year.
Xiaomi has officially confirmed the launch date of its upcoming Civi 2 smartphone on September 27.
Based on GizmochinaThe Xiaomi Civi 2 is rumored to feature a 6.56-inch FHD+ OLED display. The smartphone is said to have a 120Hz refresh rate. Alternatively, the smartphone could have a curved edge display with a centered punch hole.
Currently, the Chinese smartphone company has not revealed the price of this smartphone.
Compared to its predecessor – Civi is powered by Snapdragon Chipset 778G Plus, Civi 2 is said to be powered by Snapdragon 7 Ge 1 chipset paired with 12 GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 256 GB of internal memory.
The rear camera module is rumored to house a 50MP OIS main sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide sensor, and a 2MP sensor. The front camera module is still incomplete.
The phone is expected to be backed by a 4500mAh battery capacity with 67W fast charging support.
Civi 2 is supposed to run Android 12 operating systems topped with the company’s own MIUI 13 layer.
