The wearables war could be about to take an interesting turn, with news that Xiaomi may be about to launch a smartwatch running on Google’s Wear 3 operating system.
The Chinese manufacturer was once a major player in the wearables market, but has so far opted to use its own operating system for its smartwatches, with Xiaomi Watch S1 and the recently launched Xiaomi Watch S1 Pro run on MIUI Watch OS – a heavily modified version of Android.
