Meet the Stampfli Express – a 24-seater rowing boat that will join the Paris 2024 Olympic torch relay on Sunday.
Just days before the Olympic Games begin, the impressive pod will carry 23 rowers and an Olympic torchbearer along a stretch of the Marne River, east of Paris.
This rowing event is not part of the official competition – rowers are only allowed to compete alone or in teams of two, four or eight at the Olympics.
This boat was built specifically for major events by Swiss manufacturer Stampfli Racing Boats.
