Woman’s Head, Other Body Parts Found In Bag Near Delhi Metro Site

The mutilated body of a woman was found in a plastic bag near the Rapid Metro construction site in Sarai Kale Khan, southeast Delhi.
Police received information Saturday afternoon and found a woman’s body parts, including her skull, in a white plastic bag.
Deputy Commissioner of Police (Southeast) Rajesh Deo said police received information about the discovery of body parts near ISBT Sarai Kale Khan, which is adjacent to the Rapid Metro construction site flyover.
Police have sent parts to the AIIMS Trauma Center and are trying to identify the victim.
The forensic team investigated where the parts were found. Police say that a case has been registered and an investigation is ongoing.
Last year, Delhi Police arrested 28-year-old Aaftab Poonawala for allegedly killing his partner, then dumping her body parts all over the city.
Aaftab allegedly chopped up Shraddha Walkar’s body into 35 pieces and kept them in a 300-litre refrigerator for nearly three weeks at his residence in Mehrauli, south of Delhi, before dumping the body around the city for several days.
