Woman Found Dead Inside Suitcase Near UP Expressway Was From Delhi: Cops

The woman’s body was found wrapped in plastic in a red suitcase last Friday.

Police say the body of a young woman found inside a suitcase near the Yamuna highway in Mathura in Uttar Pradesh last week has been identified as that of a 22-year-old man from Delhi.

Police officials said the body had been identified by the victim’s family, adding that an investigation was underway.

The body of the 22-year-old woman was found wrapped in a large red suitcase near the Yamuna highway in Mathura last Friday.

There was blood on his face and head, and there were wounds all over his body, police said.

“We have important clues. It is said that the girl’s name is Aarushi Yadav and the father’s name is Nitesh Yadav. The family lives in Badarpur, Delhi,” a police official said.

Police suspect that the woman was killed somewhere else and then dumped near the highway, where there is little traffic at night.

The workers discovered the suitcase and then they called the police. The suitcase was opened after police arrived at the scene and found the body.
