A woman murdered and beheaded her neighbor after she changed her mind about investing in her real estate project, a court has been launched.
Prosecutors say Jemma Mitchell, 38, killed Mee Kuen Chong, 67, on June 11 last year before driving to several woods in Salcombe, Devon on June 26 to bury the body. not her head.
It was found by holidaymakers the next day, the Old Bailey heard on Wednesday.
After her body was discovered, police found a forged will by Ms. Chong leaving most of her estate to Mitchell.
Jurors heard from Mitchell’s mother Hilary Collard on Wednesday, who said: “Deborah wanted to put some money in her home but decided against it so Jemma just stopped talking to her. “
The court said Mitchell and Ms Chong, who had met through church, exchanged several messages about the renovation of Mitchell’s home in Willesden, northwest London.
But in the end Mrs. Chong told her, “There’s enough work in the house that you don’t have the money to do. That doesn’t make sense.
“You have to get rid of everything and live a simple life, deleting all the unused, unused things.”
She told her to forget her £200,000 investment and project, messages revealed that Mitchell was hoping to have a ‘worship room with nature tweeting’.
Mrs Chong told her the house was worth £4million – and she should sell it instead.
“Selling it to enjoy life money is too short,” one notice read.

Jurors were shown CCTV footage of Mitchell arriving at Wembley, where Ms Chong lived with a large blue suitcase, and leaving a few hours later on June 11.
Miss Mitchell’s mother, who lives with her, described Ms Chong as “crazy” and “a complete wreck”.
“She’s crazy but she thinks she’s going to marry Prince Charles and she’s always ready to set the table for Prince Charles and throw dinner parties,” she said.
The court heard that Ms. Chong suffered from schizophrenia and was being prescribed medication.
Mitchell denies murder. The case is still ongoing.
