A 37-year-old woman has been charged with murder and arson after a 56-year-old man was found dead in a house fire.
Caroline Mothershill has been arrested and taken into custody following a deadly fire in Stratford, east London on Thursday, August 25.
Police arrived at the house on Gilbert Street shortly after 10 a.m. and found the man’s body dead.
A special autopsy was performed yesterday, and further autopsy results are expected soon.
Mothershill was subsequently arrested and will appear before Thames Magistrates Court later today.
