A new study published in the journal International journal of data warehousing and mining have found that personal health biomedical clothing based on wireless sensor networks (PH-BC-WSNs) has the potential to significantly enhance access to quality healthcare and promote food production through precision agriculture. This technology, which is part of the Internet of Things (IoT), enables the creation of more efficient healthcare and medical asset monitoring systems.

Internet of Things (IoT) refers to the interconnected network of physical devices, vehicles, Housewareand other items embedded with electronics, software, sensors, and networking, allowing these objects to collect and exchange data. IoT enables automatic and seamless data flow between devices, creating a more automated and connected world.

Research highlights the importance of having a fast, reliable and energy-efficient connection between wireless sensor network (WSN). To achieve this, the control, network layer, media access control, and physical layer specifications must be optimized or co-engineered. The researchers also highlighted a number of challenges associated with the use of PH-BC-WSNs, including privacy and cybersecurity issues, increased risk of malpractice lawsuits, and higher costs for both doctor and patient.

The article extensively discussed the potential risks of eavesdropping on medical data, manipulation, alarm falsification, denial of service, and electromagnetic attacks.

The results of the study indicate that although PH-BC-WSN has the potential to improve health care and agriculture, there are also significant risks to privacy and security concerns that must be resolved.

The authors call for more research to address these challenges and ensure that technology is used responsibly and ethically. In summary, PH-BC-WSN holds promise as a tool to improve health care and agriculture, but it is important to address privacy and Security Risks to ensure that it is used in the best interest of the patient and the consumer.
