At least, not in the new killer movie Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honeyfollowing Winnie and his BFF Piglet like fearsome killers after their master Christopher Robin give them up. The first trailer was released on Wednesday, August 31, and provides a glimpse into this terrifying new version of Winnie the Pooh.

Craig David Dowsett plays Winnie the Pooh and Chris Cordell play the role of Piglet. In the trailer, Christopher Robin do Nikolai Leon, dropped out of college and abandoned Winnie and Piglet. But Christopher did not receive a friendly welcome. “We were friends, why are you doing this? I swear I’ll never leave,” Christopher said as Winnie and Piglet hunted him down.
Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey Filmed in just ten days near England’s Ashdown Forest, the inspiration for Winnie’s house in AA Milneiconic stories. Manager Rhys Waterfield discussed the killer movie in an interview with Diversity in the May. “Because they had to defend themselves so much, they basically went wild,” he said of taking on Winnie and Piglet. “So they went back to their animal origins. They are no longer tame: they are like a vicious bear and pig that wants to go around and try to find prey. “
The director also explains how he balances horror and comedy in creating this film. “When you try to make a movie like this, and it’s a really weird concept, it’s very easy to go down a route where there’s nothing scary and it’s really ridiculous and really, like , so stupid.
