The Windows 10 2H22 update along with the latest Chrome Dev version will allow users to set Google Chrome as their default browser with just one click, according to the report. Currently, users have to go into Settings and then to set Chrome as the default browser. Meanwhile, Microsoft has released Windows 10 21H2 for Windows Insiders with some quality improvements. These enhancements include several language-related features as well as enhanced capabilities to identify and intercept ransomware and advanced attacks.
According to a report by The Verge, via Reddit, users will only need one click to change their default browser to Chrome from Chromium. Don’t know if this quick toggle is possible for any other browser you selected earlier and now want to change to Google Chrome. With Chrome (Chrome Dev 106.0.5231.2) and the Windows 10 22H2 update, users can click on an in-browser pop-up asking to set Chrome as their default browser. Currently, users are redirected to the Windows Settings app to change the default browser.
In another Windows-related development, Microsoft yes release Windows 10 21H2 Build 19044.1947 (KB5016688) to the Windows Insider Release Preview Channel. The update is for Insiders using Windows 10 version 21H2. Among other improvements, there are two important updates released in this build.
The first is to give IT admins the ability to add remote languages and language-related features. Additionally, administrators can now manage language scripts across several endpoint managers. The second major update is enhanced Microsoft Defender for Endpoint. It now includes the ability to identify and intercept ransomware and advanced attacks.
Recently, a proposal report that Microsoft will bring printing from Windows 11 to Windows 10 as part of the Windows 10 version 22H2 update. The new print feature is said to introduce the option to add a PIN to a print job to avoid duplicate connections and incorrect prints.
