Where to play the best video game movies
Easily the best video game adaptation of the ’90s, it remains the best in its series. 1995’s Mortal Kombat takes a PG-13 approach to Midway’s hyper-violent arcade game and is, as such, a fun and accessible entry into the franchise. The thunder god Raiden recruits a group of unlikely warriors (Lui Kang, Sonya Blade, Johnny Cage) from Earth to fight in the kingdom’s last chance in the Mortal Kombat tournament before being taken over by the forces. of Outworld represented by Shang Tsung, Goro, Sub taking over from Zero, and Scorpion.
Mortal Kombat (1995) is available to stream on HBOMax. If you really want to have a good time, but don’t mind a horror movie, have a good laugh by watching Mortal Kombat: Destruction, the sequel somehow missed everything the original did right. It is also available on HBOMax.
