House Speaker Mike Johnson called on the Supreme Court to “step in” to overturn Trump’s conviction

Obviously, this is completely unprecedented,” Johnson said Friday during an appearance Fox & Friends. “I think the justices of the Court—I know many of them personally—I think they are deeply concerned about it, as are we. So I think they’re going to deal with this issue squarely,” the Louisiana Republican added.
