WhatsApp for iOS May have an option to view messages by date: Report

WhatsApp is said to be working on an upgraded search feature that will allow users to see messages sent on a specific date. This functionality is being tested on WhatsApp for iOS. As mentioned, the feature is still under development in this build and it will roll out to beta testers in the future.

The development comes two days after WhatsApp for iOS users ran into issues after updating their app to version It was report that a WhatsApp bug had automatically changed the mute duration from ‘1 week’ to ‘8 hours’. However, there is no problem when the user chooses two other durations to mute the conversation: ‘8 hours’ and ‘Always’.
