Save before choosing your partner pokemon, if you are interested in breeding
Very soon after starting the game, you’ll run down a hill with three starter Pokemon before being prompted to choose one. While Fly used to be a lot more important (since you need it to get around the world), it’s still a powerful move that Pikachu can’t learn normally. And who doesn’t love Pikachu? We know we do. Look around the green objects to find new TM
There are small columns of red light glowing all over the world. They represent consumables in Pokemon Scarlet & Violet. Whether they’re Potions or Pokeballs, these are all really useful items, but they’re not the only ones lying on the ground. The small twinkling yellow light represents Berries and the green light is TM.
Trying to pick them up is super important in this section because once you get the TM you’ll unlock the ability to craft more of them.
Tera raid
While many of the Pokemon you will catch during the opening hour of Scarlet & Violet will be weak, this is not true for Pokemon caught via Tera Raids. They are usually higher level than your party, come with great set of moves, and even have unique Tera types, potentially giving them a competitive edge that normal Pokemon of that type have access to. access.
