What caused the McLaren Artura to be recalled? Know here
British supercar manufacturer McLaren seems to be facing some problems with its latest model Artura. Deliveries of Mclaren Artura have been discontinued due to quality issues. Now, the automaker has recalled a total of 164 hybrid supercars due to the risk of a fuel leak, which could lead to a fire. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) said affected customers needed dealers to fix technical problems.
NHTSA said in its safety recall report that the problem stemmed from a nut that was used to tighten the high-pressure fuel hose. These nuts can become loose over time, resulting in a fuel leak. In the worst case, this fuel leak can lead to a fire. To remedy this problem, the high-pressure fuel lines will be replaced by the dealer free of charge. “If the nut is loose, the sealing ring between the end flare of the fuel pipe and the sealing cone of the pump outlet may fail, resulting in the release of fuel. The flare end of the fuel pipe is located near engine components. have high operating temperatures. If fuel escapes near these components, it can lead to heat-generating activity,” the report released by NHTSA said.

We had significant delays in the production line at the time, and we reduced production to zero cars per day. to fix quality problems,” he said.
