What are you playing this weekend? (November 9)
Jim Norman, Office Clerk
Yes, this weekend I will only talk about Brothership. I’m just getting started so far, but I really like what I’m seeing! It hasn’t reached its peak yet Superstar Saga It’s just new to me, but I’ll keep going as long as I have this stupid grin on my face.
Maybe I’ll get through another phase or two Sonic X Dark Generation If I have time, but honestly, I’m just interested other Olympic champion this weekend.

I’ll be passing by this weekend Dragon Age: GuardianIt wasn’t exactly what I wanted, but it was still fun. I’m also jotting down all the lines that make me roll my eyes, and it’s like a list of the worst Hollywood cliches – “ah, that just happened”, “we have friends action”, “so quiet… so quiet” – I seriously can’t believe they put this much bad dialogue in a game series known for its good writing!
I’m playing too [REDACTED] ahead of the (still unknown) release date and oh my God, what a game! You will love it. I have absolutely no idea if it will come to Switch, but I hope it does.

“Water damage”. These are the scariest words in the dictionary when you fill out an insurance claim for what was once the contents of my living room, aka the game room, where over forty years of life was kept and displayed. My life as a gamer. But earlier this week, the pouring rain outside became a waterfall pouring from the ceiling onto my video game collection. A tragedy? Sure. However, when you look around the world, you eventually realize it’s “just stuff.” No amount of water, fire, or alien invasion can destroy the memories of the things you grew up with, even if their physical form is gone. It’s time to move on.
My game of the week is obviously Mario & Luigi: Brothership (hilariously translated in the neighboring country as “Conexión Fraternal”). Just another quality first-party Switch game from Nintendo on the shelf, right? Well, this game comes with a slightly “heavy” bonus: Brothership is the 1000th physical video game in my collection. As I look back on nearly eight years of my life, I can’t help but feel humbled by my good fortune to have endured unbearable hardships alongside Nintendo’s hybrid cultural phenomena. Video games, right? How many lives have they touched and how many have even saved? Let’s continue this journey together.

I think there’s only one game for me this weekend, which is Mario & Luigi: Brothership. Honestly, I really like this style of Mario play. I loved Mario & Luigi Superstar Saga back in the day – hell, I still play it sometimes. So, to get a new Mario & Luigi game? Oh my god, I’m so spoiled.
Maybe someone should check on me on Sunday night, though; At that point, I may need to detach from my Switch.
Anyway, happy gaming everyone!
That’s what we have planned for the weekend, what about you? Let us know in the following poll which games you plan to launch in the next few days.
