What are we all going to play this weekend?

After three weekends in a row, I feel a bit cheated by these two weekends. Is this allowed? It is definitely not correct. Can’t believe we have to wait two weeks for another three-day weekend. However, while we are here, we can also play some video games. What will you play this weekend? This is what we are clicking on!

I’m still traveling through time Quantum Break, Remedy’s once-forgotten super-powered shooter, is now available on Game Pass. Yes, 7/10.

Thanks to the Steam Deck, I’ve nestled myself between three great games that I wouldn’t have played on a big screen. Sheep Cult, Vampire SurvivorAnd sleeping citizen are all on their way. I just skip it for a bit, then when my attention wanders, I move on to the next part. I went from sacrificing cute animals to continue my “Gears Of War 2” cult, to the Bone Zone, to getting emotional in front of some robots and dice. Video games.
Let’s come
Thanks to some extra time while teaching Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, I have the next week to rest, recuperate, and run around smashing everything in Tears Of The Kingdom. I’ll definitely be spending a lot of time playing Magic: The Gathering, now that my friends are finishing their college year and hopefully we’ll play a session or two of D&D as well.

I admit that I’m going through the “I don’t like it” phase with new games, the same way I sometimes wander through a supermarket without determining what foods I want to give. dinner. Instead, I feel free to replay Portal 2enough time has passed since the last run that I don’t immediately remember all the jokes and puzzle solutions.

I’m off next week. It has nothing to do with a certain Nintendo game coming out yesterday. Absolutely not. Who will be selfish? Honest. Simply a convenient pause before notE3. I swear to Gano- okay I’m playing Tears Of The Kingdom, are you happy now?

Kaan mentioned Overdrive sunset in our Slack chat last week, so now I’m replaying Sunset Overdrive again. I started it up on Series X and immediately discovered that the game was still running at 30 frames per second. Only 30 frames! Do you know what I did in response to that, readers? I kept playing, and after five minutes I got used to it. I’ve been a “framer” for the past year, but now I’m finally free. Sunset Overdrive feels smooth and responsive in the hand, even at 30 frames. What a game.

I’ll probably spend my weekend as I’ve been spending all my weekends lately – I desperately wish that today was the 18th so I could start playing Masked Expert again. Until then, I have to be content with more Honkai: Star Railway, still much better than I expected. I’ve reached Balance Level 2 now and things are starting to get a little more difficult. Luckily, I’ve now settled on a very strong team composition that can get me through most battles thanks to its great healing and some massive single-target damage.

I’m still enjoying the lovely miniature world of Mailing time so will definitely play more this weekend. I also started playing Ori and the Forest of the Blind like i was meant to play it for year. Its very beautiful.

This week, I had the smug satisfaction of finally playing 100% not one but two favorite games (Danganronpa 2 And Life is strange: True colors, like you even have to ask). However, just as I was wiping my hands with satisfaction, Ooblets pat me on the shoulder and say “Hey, you realize you haven’t even looked at me since Christmas and my super generous spring event ends on May 31st, right?” I’m sorry, Ooblets. I want to do better by you. I will do better by you. I will see you this weekend.
But you, dear reader, what are you playing this weekend?
