What are we all going to play this weekend?

Dear reader, it’s almost here, the most wonderful time of the year, the day we’ve all been waiting for: Cyber Monday. I’m planning once again to celebrate cyberpunk, hackers, interns and all things online by muttering Jolt Cola and singing Front Line Assembly carols around a crate of free trial CDs AOL charge is burning. In addition, I will have some special Cyber Monday posts for all of you to read with your closest and loved ones. But first, what are you going to play this weekend? This is what we are clicking on!

I have to finish penitent. I took the second action and I’m 100% sure I know who the bad guy is, although I can’t tell you who and why because that would be a revelation. This is like when I nailed the Mouse Trap in the period again (yes, I’m bragging). In addition, there are many more Elen’s ring to be done still. I don’t think I’ll finish it. But we persevere.

Me and my little friends in Darktide

i’m enjoying Warhammer 40,000: Dark Tide beta a lot, stomping and screaming like an elf with weapons that include a grenade launcher whose primary function is to fire a baton and a single-shot shotgun loaded with a beanbox-sized bullet. Some serious dakka. Too bad the progression system wastes time the absolute garbage from Vermintide is here too. It’s a great game; I wish it had enough confidence to not rely on mass-increasing rubbish for lasting attention. I am here, and I will be here, please let me play.

This weekend is the big panto finale for my eldest, so we’ll be there to support her for that. Game wise, I want to find a moment to dedicate Sand Dunes: Spice War It’s now available on PC Game Pass. I think my kids will probably appreciate the bunny platformer game Lapin, so that should be on the to-do list as well. If given the opportunity I also hope to jump into the beta of Warhammer 40K: Darktide.

A quieter weekend means I can go back to Lost Judgment on PS5. I have a robot club in high school to join! A dance class to teach! And a murder mystery to solve, but that doesn’t matter.

Let’s come
It’s been a long weekend for me, so I’m hoping to see some more God Of War Ragnarok, while also moving on to Pentiment. However, I should probably step away from the screen for a while, so I was hoping to get some friends together to play some Magic games. I must have lost! But there could also be a pizza stuffed in my mouth, so it seems like a win regardless.

I found myself in the Warhammer 40K: Darktide beta, playing a basic gunfighter because I had no imagination. To protect me, I did Not Vermintide’s continued focus on melee and choosing the Bloke With Rifle token class means I prefer this. Even when I sometimes covet my neighbor’s build of Ogryn.

I’m playing something top secret to review this weekend, but I hope to get some more Pentiments if I can!

This week, I’m not just playing a game. I life a game. The most beautiful game, in fact. Yes, the World Cup is back, which means it’s time for me to pretend to love football a little bit because all my friends are really excited about it and I don’t want to feel left out. I don’t like football at the best of times, so the world cup is particularly appealing. Its host country is only chosen based on tacit agreements, right? This is a known thing that I hear adults mumbling about their pints, but then it doesn’t matter since it’s likely to go home? I went to the same school as the England goalkeeper, but I have to cheer for Belgium because the country was drawn to me as part of a tournament I accidentally became a part of. I could make £100 out of all this. I think football is really boring but I quite enjoy being a part of something. I will think about the reasons behind that another time. For now, it’s all about a few liters of Antique Oil and watching some boys kick a ball on a big TV. Congratulations.

I’ve been enjoying playing Cosmoteer in my spare time for the past few weeks. It has FTL bits, Oxygen Exclude bits, Elite bits. Recently, I took the bold step and built my second spaceship from scratch – a mining ship that I can send on an asteroid tour while my flagship sails through the system. stars beat pirates and claim bonuses. I also realized that when my ship’s inventory is full of Steel, I can create a new “ship” which is just a sturdy sphere of armor to use as a stockpile, and when it’s time for me to can dismantle it all and get all that steel back. As a result, there are several rather ominous giant balls floating around the local star. It’s impossible not to wonder how a millennial species can create these massive spherical monuments.

Honestly, I was pretty tired playing God Of War Ragnarök so it was time to take a break. I bought The Forgotten City during this year’s Steam Fall Sale because I’ve been meaning to play it for years. Unfortunately I missed it when it was on Game Pass but my game backlog has other ideas.

After arriving quite late to weird gardening party, it quickly became one of those “where the evening goes, oh, if I get up early tomorrow, I can play more before work” kind of game. I also tested my sanity with multiple loops Doki Doki Plus Literature Club needed to unlock the secret “good” ending. And miraculously, I seem to be halfway there. The Devil In Me without having anyone ‘grievously killed’, a condition I cannot imagine being allowed much longer.

But you, dear reader, what are you playing this weekend?
