She added: “I hope when other girls, especially South Asian girls, watch us play, it sends a message that they can do whatever they want and they can be. become who they want to be.

“It means a lot to me. I want to help inspire young people to come and play the game, and hopefully one day some of them will have a chance to play in a game. great football stadium as we did.”
