Today, Amazon US is running a Lightning Deal that’s worth knowing: just $180 for Innocn’s 27-inch 1440p 144Hz gaming monitor. This brand is the one I mentioned before – my colleague John Linneman was impressed with both mobile OLED and a super wide 40 inches from the Chinese company – so in my opinion it is definitely worth a try.
First, for some context, this monitor’s specs typically cost between $250 and $350, so getting it for significantly less than $200 is a pretty good deal. The 1440p 144Hz combination is a strong combination in 2023, as it offers a good mix of detail and responsiveness without pushing your GPU or wallet over the limit. Second, the 27G1G uses a VA panel, which offers excellent contrast and good color accuracy but slightly worse viewing angles and motion clarity than the IPS alternative, albeit with age. 1ms rated response time, the monitor should be reasonably quick to handle. action at a maximum refresh rate of 144Hz.
This display seems to have come out late last year and attracts some favorable reviews the words smaller store, though it looks like it hasn’t been tested by an RPS sized splice (nor for the record nor the RPS itself). Customer reviews on Amazon are also decent, with an average score of 84% and a few major complaints prominent in the reviews themselves.
The Innocn 27G1G seems to be 75% confirmed, so I’ll end things here – but given the quality and value of Innocn’s other monitors, I’d be happy to recommend this product based on information its specifications. (There is also a bleeding edge Mini LED Display 4K 160Hz from the same brand for $699 after receiving a $100 coupon – very hot).
