After a long hiatus, Weekend Warrior is back and ready to air at the best time of the week: the weekend! The Game informant The staff is busy with all sorts of great games recently released like Horizon Forbidden West, Dying Light 2 and Lost Ark. Hear directly from several team members to see how they plan to spend the long weekend.
Jill Grodt – With great game releases hitting left and right and absolutely beautiful weather, this weekend is sure to be good. I’m planning to explore every inch of the Forbidden City, find new ways to take down the big machines, and see if I can spot any familiar San Francisco landmarks reclaimed by nature. are not. I also have to find some time this weekend to continue filling out my Pokédex in Pokémon Legends: Arceus because, despite its flaws, I love being able to go out and look for my favorite creatures himself in nature. But I should hurry because the Elden Ring is only a week away!
Brian Shea – This weekend, I’m continuing my journey through Dying Light 2. I’m still pretty early, but I’m having a great time. As much as I’ve been tempted by Horizon Forbidden West, I’ve recently realized that I just need to focus on one big, open game at a time or I’ll never finish any of them. .
Andrew Reiner – For the first time in three years, I hang out with my board game team for the weekend. We played Unfathomable, a game that I really recommend if you like betrayal mechanics. We’ll see how much time we have, but the plan is to get a slot for all of these games: Captain Sonar, Forgotten Waters, El Dorado, Tyrant of the Underdark, The Captain is Dead, Nemesis and Eldritch Horror . I also look forward to reading the latest issues of Donny Cates about Hulk and God of thunder.
Alex Van Aken – My wife Kayla and I love reality TV. So bad. We’re halfway done now Love Island Season 6 and it quickly became one of my favorites to date. Callum and Shaugna’s relationship is a roller coaster, Paige and Finley are the cutest couple since Jack and Dani in Season 4, and narrator Iain Stirling is as awesome as ever. If you are a fan of Bachelor, Love is blindor even Circle, you need to see Love Island (UK). Be sure to start with Season 4, then Season 6, and if you’re interested in watching this trash flare of a TV show, you’re in good hands.
Kimberly Wallace – I plan to finally watch the finale of People of Peace, it’s so much more fun and amazing than I ever expected. Also, with Horizon Forbidden West done, I’ll finally go into Dying Light 2. Oh yeah, and read some comics! I love the new She is heavy and Hawkeye: Kate Bishop series.
Wesley LeBlanc – It started. Do you smell it? In a week we’ll be releasing From Software’s Elden Ring. I won’t be playing games this weekend. I won’t watch TV. I will neither eat nor drink. I will meditate and prepare this vessel of life and death called Wesley to become the Fish Shooter. That is my destiny. I will prepare not only the soul but also the mind, not only the mind but also the brain. I can do this. I will do this. I became the ring of Elden.
John Carson – We’re starting at the end of the second month of the year, and I already feel like I’m playing catch-up. This weekend, I’ll explore what max level content looks like in Lost Ark and jam some matches in The King of Fighters XV. I’ll also dig deeper into Magic: The Gathering’s Kamigawa: Neon Dynasty either through the Magic Arena or sit down at a game store and sketch it out in person. We’ll see what kind of adventurer I want to be. Neon Dynasty is a series that I can’t stop thinking about with its intricate and fun designs that inspire so many creative plays. When I’m not playing the game (or while I’m at it), I plan to stay up to date with the latest information It’s always sunny seasons and maybe a few episodes People of Peace for good measure.
