Weekend Warrior – Summer Game Fest Edition

We’ve officially entered the most hyped time of the game year, and the staff of Game informant is in full Summer Game Fest mode this week. Part of our team is in Los Angeles to see many of the games featured during the summer rollouts, and the home team is working hard to see the presentations and feel like countless trailers. to keep HOLD Readers are up to date with every bit of news coming out this week. News such as reveal of The Last of Us Part I, TMNT: Shredder’s Revenge Release Date, New information about Marvel’s Midnight Sunand Guile comes to Street Fighter 6to name a few.

With everyone so busy, Weekend Warrior will usually step back to support SGF activities, but since we’ve been gone for a few weeks I won’t let that happen this time. What are these Game informant Staff up to this weekend:

Blake Hester, 28 years old – This weekend, I’ll be replaying Resident Evil 2. Remake. Not the original. It was a bad game. Or just an old game. Same difference. After the announcement of the Resident Evil 4 remake, I was very happy. Replaying some of the more recent games has reminded me to actually feel weird about Capcom’s horror jokes. However, never played the Resident Evil 3: Nemesis remake! That’s the next one.

Wesley LeBlanc – It was an extremely busy weekend for me, and as a result I didn’t anticipate too much gaming in it. The highlight of this weekend is that my brother is getting married (congrats Cameron!!!!!), so that will take up most of my weekend. When I’m not in for a wacky wedding, I’m at video game conventions over the weekend (getting excited about Xbox’s Sunday rollout) and hanging out with my family out of town. I can too, can, see more Strange things. I finished season 4 last week and immediately started re-watching the entire series because, yes, good television at it. I hope you all have a great weekend!

Jill Grodt – Since we’re in the middle of showcase summer, this weekend will be all about video game news. Saturday is full of indie presentations and hopefully my must-see game list is full by the end of the day. Of course, I also look forward to exciting announcements from the big stages. I hope everyone gets something to be excited about!

John Carson – This week marks my one year anniversary with Game informant, and it was just as chaotic as my first, but with more experience I could control it. I’ll be working the whole weekend, but it doesn’t feel like work because I’m watching all the same game trailers that I’d be glued to if I wasn’t working. HOLD. When I’m not writing stories, I’ll catch up Strange things season 4 (only one episode, and it’s awesome!), crush Diablo Immortal and catch up on the last Monster Hunter Rise on PC in preparation for Sunrise in a few weeks. I can also hop on the Guilty Gear Strive to get some online randos whipped in the butt if I feel like I can use punishment.
