‘They took down one of our videos because of misinformation, but why aren’t the major media organizations censoring disinformation in the same way? Is it because YouTube is now part of mainstream media? ‘

Russell shared that an earlier clip he posted on the website was taken down because he was ‘quoting information on official government websites, which we misinterpreted’ regarding Covid.

He apologized in the now-deleted second video and said he made a mistake.

The star explained: ‘We did an apology video, we took that down too. YouTube took down our original video, we took down the apology video because in case we reiterate the complaint while apologizing for it.

Dissatisfied: In a clip shared on Tuesday, the 47-year-old actor explained that after his video of ‘changing stories around COVID’ was taken down, he would be moving to Rumble , where he will go live weekdays for an hour

‘We made a mistake, a relatively minor one in my opinion and we are being penalized!’

‘To me, that’s like censorship, and the reason I think it’s like censorship is because there’s always disinformation in the mainstream media.’

Brand then played a clip from March 2021 of MSNBC’s Rachel Maddow saying, ‘now we know that vaccines work well enough for the virus to stop with everyone being vaccinated.’

He pointed out that the clip is still posted online and doesn’t include COVID authenticity verification.

Control: The streaming giant says his account has been suspended for violating community guidelines

He reiterated that everyone now knows that ‘it’s true that vaccines don’t stop you from spreading it’, but that video is still on the site.

Russell continued: ‘So we’re asking: Is there a standard for independent news broadcasters like us on our channel and another standard for what we call ‘media’? mainstream media? ‘

‘Why are independent channels being hacked, censored and demoted while mainstream media channels are being promoted, highlighted and glorified?’

The streaming giant says his account has been suspended because it violates community guidelines.

Rumble hosts events for former US president Donald Trump and his supporters, who have been forced out of YouTube.

The brand joins MAGA supporters Alex Jones and the son of former president Don Jr, who are also present on the platform.

Change: Russell shared that a clip he previously posted on the website was taken down because he ‘quoted information on official government websites, which we misunderstood’ about Covid
