NEW DELHI: Premier of West Bengal Mamata Banerjee start the Durga Puja festival on Mahalayafalls on Sunday, by releasing a debut album of special songs, titled ‘Utsaver Gaan‘.
She not only sang a song ‘Dhak dumadum’, along with singer turned politician Indrani Sen and Aditi Munshi, but also wrote the lyrics of all the songs and composed the music for the album.
The album includes eight special Puja songs sung by the likes of Jit Ganguly, Sriradha and Monomoy, in addition to her Trinamool Congress party MLAs Babul Supriyo and Indranil.
