Watson will oppose season-long suspension in court
The NFL and NFL Players Association has plan submitted a written post-hearing summary to disciplinary officer Sue L. Robinson last Tuesday regarding the matter regarding Cleveland Browns quarterback Deshaun Watson and allegations of sexual misconduct during massage sessions.
It has been known since the second half of June that the NFL reported request Watson is suspended indefinitely and is ineligible to play at least for the 2022 season. The NFLPA, meanwhile, has campaigned against the 26-year-old receiving any bans.
Looks like the union was preparing for a fight just in case.
