Watson meets NFL before taking teammates to Bahamas

The Cleveland Browns‘Starting quarterback Deshaun Watson is scheduled to meet the NFL this week – before committing the Browns’ offense during a trip to the Bahamas as a team-building exercise, according to CBS Sports’ Josina Anderson.

Watson is facing 22 civil lawsuits from women who have accused him of sexual misconduct during massage sessions. Although two grand juries in Texas have refused to indict Watson on a criminal charge, the NFL must now determine whether Watson violated the federation’s code of conduct policy.

The belief now is that the NFL is ending its investigation into Watson because of a scheduled meeting.

The Browns bought the attached QB from the Houston Texans this season and signed him multi-year contract worth $230 million, even if the potential discipline from the league remains massive.

It has yet to be announced which players from Cleveland’s offense will join Watson on the Bahamas tour.
