From incredible records to completely weird ones, Guinness World Records has it all. There are also a few that amaze and this record falls precisely there. A recent post on the Guinness World Records Instagram page shows a man in a wheelchair crisscrossing the streets of Dubai creating what is now recorded as the world’s largest GPS drawing. The drawing is a wheelchair logo covering the areas of Burj Khalifa and Dubai Mall.
A bicycle accident in 2013 left Sujith Varghese, the record holder, paralyzed. “He went out of his way to set this record to inspire and energize all athletes,” the organization commented on the post. The drawing spans an area of 8.71 square kilometers and the record dedicated to the listing was created in the Middle East. The organization reads, “The largest (personal) GPS drawing (CID2) 8.71 km (5.41 miles) by Sujith Varghese.”

In the video, one can see Varghese driving through the roads of Dubai supported by the Dubai Police Command. He successfully crossed the Burj Khalifa area and the Dubai mall to create the logo. He also wants to spread the message of providing accessibility to the poor. Varghese also shared: “It is great to draw a slogan that everyone understands and crosses language borders. We have sent a message to the world through Dubai and Guinness of World Records belonging to like-minded people around the world. And it’s great to depart from Dubai, the city rich in value and accessibility for the people that matter.”
The post has garnered more than 55,000 thousand likes on Instagram, and the video has received more than 4.6 million views. Many users from all over the world congratulated Varghese on this record.
