battlefield 2 launched less than a week ago, and players have experienced déjà vu caused by an explosion of invisible players. This isn’t the first time the Warzone series has been affected by unseen warriors, but we don’t have any answers yet as to why it’s happening. The invisibility incident gained attention over the weekend, when streamer SuperEv To share a video was taken down by another player who didn’t seem to be there. The Warzone 2.0 Trello board that lists known issues with the game hasn’t shown any mention of known stealth bugs, so stay calm.
Other players shared their stories of invisible attackers, including some streamer who said it’s been happening since launch day. Player has arrived at CODWarzone annex to tell their invisible suffering stories too. “The same thing happened to me on the second day of my release. This guy is invisible and keeps trolling me and my team until he deletes us. I think it’s a cheat,” said one Warzone 2.0 player. “The second game begins, 2nd place against an invisible person. Joke of a game,” another added. There were even invisible players who started own up about their antics.
Step back in time and you’ll recall that the first Warzone also struggled with invisible players. Like AliceO. report almost two years ago, Warzone 1.0 received an update with attack helicopters that started making players invisible. It was fairly easy to activate this for a while, and some players counterattacked by shooting wildly and just throwing grenades to the right, left, and center. That’s how I’ve always played Call Of Duty, so I’ll be safe for the time being. Another stealth glitch cropped up thanks to Warzone’s armored truck last year.
