Warwick Appointed Ascot . CEO


Alastair Warwick | Ascot Racecourse

Alastair Warwick has been appointed CEO of Ascot Racecourse, the racing venue Berkshire announced Monday.

Sir Francis Brooke, Her Majesty’s Representative to Ascot and Chairman of Ascot Authority (Holdings) Ltd, said: “I am delighted that Alastair has accepted the position of permanent CEO. “Over the past fifteen years, he has acquired the leadership and strategic skills needed for this multifaceted role. He also played a key role in developing an outstanding senior management team.

Warwick most recently held the positions of CEO and Acting CEO and has been with Ascot since 2008.

“I am delighted to be taking on the regular role and would like to thank Francis and his fellow Trustees for the opportunity and trust they have placed in me. We have a great team. From race day ‘Ball Hat’ managers to the senior team, everyone shares the same aspirations for Ascot.

“During my 15 years at Ascot, I have witnessed some of the best races in the world and I look forward to welcoming future champions, horse and man.”
