TennoCon, the annual convention and celebration for all things Warframe, is unsurprisingly happening this year. Digital Extremes, the developers behind the action MMO, will host the show on July 16.
On its website, Digital Extremes announced the timing of the show and that it will once again be virtual, promising an “all-day event with exciting revelations from the team at Digital Extremes.” Despite having to watch the festival from home, fans of Warframes can still participate in the big day by submitting to the Community Art Showcase. “Sculptures, drawings, digital art, Captura works, cosplay and more – we want to see them all,” the form submitted for the show said. Clans can also showcase their group’s home base with the Dojo Showcase.
Digital Extremes will also donate to a Canadian charity that has yet to be identified. The company said it would announce the selected charity at a later date.
At last year’s TennoCon, a major cinematic solo mission called The New War was revealed, which was later released in December 2021. Digital Extremes also announced the development of cross-play and cross-save systems. is in the works, although these features have yet to make their way to the Warframe client as of the time of this story.
