Wagner’s wagon was first discovered in Ukraine
A rare armored vehicle of Russian mercenaries from a shadowy company called Wagner has been discovered in Ukraine.
Footage believed to have been shot in the Donbas region of eastern Ukraine shows a damaged and abandoned Chekan armored vehicle belonging to the Kremlin-backed Wagner Corporation.
The Chekan, commonly known as the “Wagner wagon”, is a mine-resistant, ambush-protected (MRAP) vehicle built on the chassis of the Ural-432007-0111-31. The main role of Wagner’s wagon was to carry troops in battle theatres, where there was a chance of encountering mines and improvised explosive devices.
