Volkswagen Tiguan Exclusive Edition launched: price, specifications, features and colors

No more premium than the regular SUV, the Exclusive Edition receives a number of exterior and interior updates.
volkswagen launched a new Exclusive Version of Tiguan Mid-size SUV. Priced at Rs 33.49 lakh (former showroom, India), the Volkswagen Tiguan Exclusive Edition receives only a few cosmetic updates over the regular SUV, but remains mechanically unchanged.

Volkswagen Tiguan Exclusive Edition: what’s new?
Aesthetic updates on the Tiguan Exclusive Edition are few and far between, with the biggest highlight being the new 18-inch dual 5-spoke alloy wheels that look much sportier than the standard 18-inch ones offered on the car. Regular SUVs. It also has new dynamic wheel axles and a new load threshold guard at the rear. There’s also a new Exclusive Edition badging on the B-pillar and two exterior color options – Pure White and Oryx White.
On the inside, the Tiguan Exclusive Edition gets new aluminum pedals and adds an Exclusive Edition badging. However, there are no other changes to the trim, upholstery, or equipment list.

Under the hood, the Tiguan Exclusive Edition continues with a 2.0-liter, 4-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine that produces 190 hp and 320 Nm of torque. The engine comes with a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission, sending power to all 4 wheels via AWD system. The Tiguan has an ARAI announced fuel efficiency of 12.65 kpl.
In terms of features, Tiguan Exclusive Edition continues with LED matrix headlights, 8-inch touch screen with gesture control, anti-scratch plate with lights, leather seats, ambient lighting, gas control system three-zone rear and panoramic sunroof. Safety features include six airbags, ABS, ESC, hill start assist and downhill control.

The Tiguan Exclusive Edition doesn’t have any higher price tag than the regular SUV, and as before, continues to compete with the likes of jeep compass, Hyundai Tucson and Citroen C5 AirCross.
