Vivo X90 series features MediaTek Density 9200 SoC, more chipset details leaked

The Vivo X90 series is said to be in the process of being finalized and could launch in December. The flagship lineup is said to include the vanilla Vivo X90, Vivo X90 Pro, and Vivo X90 Pro+. Previous rumors suggested that these smartphones could come with the next-generation MediaTek Dimensity 9000-series chipset. A reliable tipper has now revealed that this chipset could be the rumored MediaTek Dimensity 9200 SoC. MediaTek is expected to announce this chipset in November, ahead of the expected launch of the Vivo X90 series.
Tipster Why Lab has speak that Vivo The X90 series could feature a MediaTek Dimensity 9200 SoC. The chipset is said to have a combination of Cortex-X3 and Cortex-A715 cores. It can be paired with the Immortalis-G715 GPU, which provides hardware-grade ray tracing. The tipper also claims that the imaging capabilities of the Dimensity 9200 SoC have also been increased. This chipset is expected to officially launch in early November.
One page ago report has suggested that the Vivo X90 lineup will also receive variants powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC. However, the next-generation MediaTek Dimensity 9000-series chipset is expected to outperform the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC in the AnTuTu benchmark test.
It is currently unclear which Vivo X90 series models will be equipped with MediaTek or Qualcomm chipsets. This early year, Vivo X80 the series is Launched in India with vanilla model powered by Dimensity 9000 SoC and Vivo X80 Pro has a 1st generation Snapdragon 8 SoC.
In related news, design images of Vivo X90 Pro + rise recently provided a look at the rear panel, including the quad rear camera module. This smartphone is expected to have a 1-inch main camera sensor. It is also said to come with a 5,000mAh battery with 100W fast charging support. Rumor has it that it could have high speed LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.0 memory.
