The Manchester Thunder won the 2022 Vitality Netball Superleague title and completed a flawless season, following a 60-53 win over Loughborough Lightning in the Finals.
The Thunder produced 12 goals in the first half, after Lightning missed their target on Ella Clark to a serious injury.
Karen Greig’s Thunder team has been under considerable pressure throughout Q3 and Q4, but they continue to run the tally as it counts towards claiming their first Superleague title since 2019.
This Vitality Netball Superleague title is the Thunder’s fourth title, following previous wins in 2012, 2014 and 2019.
