Virtual Thoroughbred Owners Conference planned for 2023

OwnerView announced today that the 2023 Purebred Owners Conference will be held as a free virtual workshop series over 10 months. The conference series, organized by The Jockey Club and the Purebred Breeders and Owners Association and presented by the Bessemer Trust, Stoll Keenon Ogden and The Green Group, will be held on the first Tuesday. or the second of every month beginning in March.

“This new format starts in 2021 and over the past two years it has been very successful in reaching new and existing Purebred owners,” said Gary Falter, project manager at OwnerView.

This year’s dashboards will be more interactive with video, open discussion, and other improvements. Workshops will cover tried and true topics like accounting and business planning in addition to new topics like disability for an owner, buying at a public auction, orthopedic surgery repair and claim compensation.

Conference boards will be live-streamed and attendees will be able to ask questions during the discussion through typed messages that will be addressed at the bottom of each panel. Replays of the conference series board will also be provided.
