Viral video: Tesla Model Y goes out of control in China and kills two
Crazy @Tesla video from a week ago. Just saw it on Reddit.
The driver tried to park and then things went awry.
Parking button not working.
Breaks do not work.
It just keeps accelerating.

In CCTV footage captured from the location, Model Y can be seen slowing down to make a parking maneuver before suddenly accelerating and flying down the road. The vehicle can be seen nearly missing several pedestrians and vehicles before hitting a cyclist and crashing into a tricycle and a building. According to reports, a motorcyclist and a female high school student were killed in the accident.
The driver alleged that the Model Y’s brakes were unresponsive at the time, and Chinese police are investigating the matter. Meanwhile, as reported by Reuters, Tesla claims that its data shows no brake input was recorded during the crash. Police are currently seeking a third-party assessment of the crash and the matter is under investigation.
