Drake dressed up for the occasion, choosing a pair of loose-fitting jeans, a burgundy leather jacket, a white t-shirt, and white shoes. The rapper of “God’s Plan” brought sparkle but still kept the elegant look. Adonis wears a black leather jacket, dark pants, white shoes, and a white shirt. Adonis’ signature curls also come into play as he watches the game (and the antics of The Raptor, Toronto’s mascot).
The father and son basketball outing comes a week after Drake showcased Adonis’ basketball skills on his Instagram story. In the clip—apparently shot at Drake’s home, judging by the custom OVO basketball court—Adonis dribbles two basketballs at once. That was impressive for Drake, who said, “This guy’s different, man.” Adonis also tosses the basketball over his legs before throwing it into the basket (h/t Tonight’s reception).
Earlier this year, Drake posted a video of Adonis playing basketball. He tagged his friend, LeBron, to say his son was clearly imitating the NBA champion. Drake wrote: “Where did he get the style from @KingJames. LeBron, 37, shared the video on her Instagram Story. “My nephew really loves this game,” he said of Adonis, along with some amusing emojis.
Adonis celebrate my fifth birthday in mid-October, less than two weeks before Drake turned 36. In a photo posted on October 11, Drake wished “my twin” a happy birthday, as the photo shows Adonis with The hair is braided in a row similar to Drake’s braid. He recently shaved his hair. Adonis seems to have had the best birthday ever by playing video games, shooting guns, and spending time with his family and friends. The party was also an epic superhero-themed party, with a giant “SUPER ADONIS” sign hanging next to a life-sized statue of Batman. Adonis also enjoyed spending time with Spider-Man before receiving the Dr. Strange his own.
