Video Of Black Leopard Under Bright Spotlight At Night Leaves Internet Furious

Video of black leopards under bright spotlights at night causes Internet outrage

The location where the video was shot is still unknown.

A video of a black panther hunting a deer in the wild under the spotlight has surfaced on the internet. The clip was shared on Twitter by Indian Forest Service (IFS) officer Susanta Nanda, with the caption, “A perfect shot. Both leopard and cameraman.”

In the clip, people see the black panther locked on the neck of the deer carcass. However, seconds later, startled by the bright lights and sounds made by the photographers, the big cat was seen leaving its prey on the ground and running away. In the caption, Mr Nanada said the video was a “perfect shot”, however, he also questioned the right to film the animals at night under full spotlight.

“But who gave the right to capture nature’s rare moments in bright spot light?” IFS officer added in the post.

Stop allowing any photographer to take pictures at night.” Another added: “This is worrisome as the leopard can leave its prey and starve due to the fear of light. Let the leopard be in the wild and undetected. Stop allowing any. any photographer at night”.

The third commented, “We are interfering with nature in a gross way”, while the fourth added, “It is very true to say.. we are just selfish enough to record any and every activity. act as if we have every right to do so.”

The location where the video was shot is still unknown.
