Footage from German broadcaster MDR showed police confronting a man lying on the floor next to a car after a car plowed into people at a Christmas market in the German city of Magdeburg.
According to Saxony-Anhalt Ministerial Chairman Reiner Haseloff, the suspect is believed to be a 50-year-old Saudi Arabian doctor.
