LEGO video games have mined all sorts of IP over the years, but one project that has never seen the light of day is the James Bond project.
TT Games has at one point been working on its own brick-based spin-off of the 007 franchise, and now footage of the pitch has surfaced online. It shows the famous agent in many iconic scenes facing off against characters like Oddjob and Jaws, driving a variety of vehicles and using all sorts of gadgets.
Ultimately, the LEGO Group didn’t feel the IP was “suitable” as a LEGO game, and the mission to adapt the series to the brick world was over. While this video was discovered in LEGO Dimensions’ data, the pitch is clearly for an independent project.
